Moved in about 1 month ago into our newly built semi-custom house and we have been non-stop busy. Wanted to set-up, declutter, and decorate my sons room. Bought 2 small Kallax cubbies, 1 x large, and a countertop hack.

I've been wondering. I want to make a similar desk with kallax shelves but won't the table be too high? The shelves themselves are 77cm (30 inches) high. A standard desk is only 73cm (28 inches). Then factor in the height of the tabletop and the desk will be pretty high up.

They are a little high, we had to buy my son counter height chair. So far, he doesn’t have a problem with it.
