I like the OXO containers but the problem is the air is trapped in the container with the cereal. Probably better off to keep cereal in the back and get all the air out of it.

Yep, I got my pods right on my drive way like NOW! You must truly maximize your container space. Once you have one to be delivered… you must watch the video PODS sends you. I rented 16ft for a 1850 sf home. And we could not take a lot of stuff. My container is going from the Bay Area to FL. For a little under $7000 with monthly payments of over $400. We could not get the 7’ footer cause is quite pricey if you are going far to another state. But one big positive is that they place this containers in a warehouse.

I switched to Progressive Pro-Keepers after using OXO for years because the pop mechanism failed within months of use on a few containers. They both look great though.

Are the lids removable? Can you wash them all in the dishwasher? I didnt get any care instructions in mine...

Took our first POD today. Quoted $1800+ for a 16ft unit.. bill arrived via email.. $2200+. Now in dispute.. you cannot get a quote on line.. you must call in.. 20 minute wait to connect to overseas customer service, every time.. pod arrived.. clean and dropped professionally. Did not need the lock.. in dispute for this as well. Loaded pod.. need a second unit.. 8ft unit.. quoted $2300+ this verses $1800+ for the first (16ft) unit.. makes no sense.. I think the company designed and uses convoluted algo.. not at all customer service.. I want this to wo rk… BUT!!

I invested in oxo this month. I have 840 sq ft condo. This means my pantry containers are visually displayed at all times. I chose OXO for its attractiveness and history of longevity.. TIP.... Don't buy OXO at Costco that comes in the gray bulk box because those are the old models. Plastic is thinner and visually unattractive. Purchase in the black box like in this video. Those are the new OXO models models. 😃❤️. Great video. Ty!!

I ALMOST went with this line last week due to affordability / value price point. But ultimately I stuck with OXO because I landed 3 sets at Marshalls at a discount.. But if I had not scored those I was ready to go with SC Members Mark line. Keep in mind the member's Mark containers you are showing are designed to hold dry pantry goods- not liquids. So you would need to do a test that keeps the air out ❤️. But at its price point I wouldn't be too worried about it Also - NEVER buy COSTCO OXO if it's not sold in the BLACK box as Costco right now is selling the models from about ten years ago. These look very different from the oxo current-day models and they function way worse.

Use the small sprinkle one for baking soda by your sink! Baking soda cleans your stainless steel pots, stoneware, and sinks beautifully and quickly, removes smells as well!!! Very handy.

I wished you would’ve gone into more details about the pods. The size, how many pods you required, how big was your house, what is considered high season and low season, what was the total you paid,etc

Do you have to drive the POD yourself or do they drive it for you? I'm trying to find a company that can move my stuff from the west to east cost by truck. I plan on only bringing a carry on and personal item with me to the airport and having the rest of my belongings shipped. I have a combination of perfumes, some furniture, clothes, shoes etc. I can't bring the full size perfumes because I would need a checked bag. I'd rather just do the carry on situation and have everything else shipped by truck. Is there a more affordable way for me to do this?

OXO now has a 1/2c. scoop, level, powder sugar duster, brown sugar disk, rice scoop and expiration date wheel that can be attached under any oxo pop lid so they can now be as functional as the prokeeper. They also added mini containers for spices. I prefer the prokeeper to oxo for baking dry goods because of the better seal, the wide opening for easy scooping, the sugar container having pour spout/handles and the newest version is nicer looking with metal accents…but I prefer oxo for storing everything else due to the size options and the better stackability. I wanted all my containers to match but OXO’s smaller opening would made scooping harder when baking but prokeeper just doesn’t have the size variety needed for a whole pantry. So each have their own uses but I wish I could have the best of both worlds for a matching pantry. 1. Do you like the way your Prokeepers stack with each other? 2. Do you use Prokeeper for all your pantry storage (other things besides baking dry goods)? 3. Would you have gone with OXO if you knew they had the baking accessories to customize the uses of each container like the prokeeper? FYI, Prokeeper has upgraded their line with metal magnetic latches, a dark top and improved accessories (Prokeeper Plus). They’ve also added a grain keeper for oats or any other grain and a pourer type keeper for maybe nuts/granola and full size cereal container. Unfortunately they have not upgraded the spice jars or the pasta keeper from the original line so they don’t match any longer which would have made it more possible to overhaul an entire pantry with prokeeper now that they have a grain container you can use for rice and beans. Container store has a 17pc set for $99 which is the absolute best price for Prokeeper Plus should you want to add them.

I have been having worst experience with pods. I got quote in March 2022 for 279. A month. I packed up two & sent them to storage. In May I get a statement charging me 419. a month for each of the two containers. BAIT and SWITCH tactics. They wait until they have your 2 16” containers back in their possession & then spike the price up. I made a complaint in May. It was a nightmare communicating with the company. I’d call and leave message after message and never hear back. I made a complaint to BBB. The person who called me back then said they would be away indefinitely and did not call me back. I’ve made close to a dozen calls and stayed on line sometimes close to an hour for no help. Now I got word if I dont pay 2k immediately my pods filled with my life belongings will be auctioned. I called collections and talked to a Elena and Carla and both did not help. Said they had no power to help and did not connect me to annoying who did. Carla hung up on me after an hour talking to various ppl. She could not hear me she suddenly said and hung up. They were all unhelpful and this incompetence of the company not having people available who can resolve billing issues but instead make excuses of why they can’t help,’is pathetic and annoying. Their rating was very low with Better Business Bureau. I would NEVER do business with them again. They bait and switched and I specifically called and went over the details in detail. They also left huge black marks all over the driveway of the house right before it was to be placed on market and sold. This company is not ethical and horrible. Please, heed my device & ask these ppl if they received money for these videos in their move. My experience with PODS has been THE WORST! DO NOT USE PODS!!!! I guess my belongings are going to be auctioned while I’m looking for another residence. PODS treats senior citizen and people of all ages very badly. Raising my monthly fees about $300 PER MONTH without notice or reason. They know I can’t afford the new rate they switched me to & keep threatening they will my auction my life belongings. They don’t act nice or follow moral practices. Don’t waste your time life or breathe with PODS! See their BBB rating!!!

For my large rug the black pad came in two pieces and it is a pain in the butt to try to keep those straight and line the carpet up. It’s a two person job and not as easy as it always looks on these videos.
