The first bit of the verse always reminds me of Paperback Writer by the beatles

"and burn the magazines you read when your alone" - what a great lyric. I could write for a million years and never say anything as brilliant and true as that. How eternally grateful I will be to have discovered this album and had the singer singing in my mums back room live and acoustic. What a blessing in my life. These songs just get better and better each and every listen. I wish everyone in the world gets to hear these tunes and I hope they write more. cheers alex in Perth. God bless u man

What a great song. Long lasting in your ear and mind far after you first hear it. Awesome lyrics - an echo of Mark Heard's "Go Ask The Dead Man" (IE What's the worth of one warm smile? - Go ask the dead man! etc). Though we may be many in totality there is only one of us - torn in two - male and female - with the scar in our ribs mended and our built in need for company so holy and completely fulfilled PRAISE THE LORD. Fantastic drumming - wonderful tones and intonations. Space between notes.

Or club boring-hipster-trash-band-that-sounds-dresses-and-has-lyrics-like-every-other-hipster-trash-band. Seeing as you've got a retro name and used a word like 'awesomeness' I'm guessing you're in the different-and-awesome-and-so-is-every-other-hipster...-uh,i-mean-friend... club. Lensless wayfarers.

it’s actyally not bad once you get into it, even tho the genre is not original. The songs are!
