I loved his performance. That was a tough year, though - so many good performances. Denzel didn’t even get a nod either for Philadelphia. I’d say he should have been nominated for sure but I always thought as far as winning that year - should have been either Ralph Fiennes or Leo.

I couldn’t disagree more. He was very human. A sadly terminally ill man who had few friends but would do anything for those friends. How can you feel sympathy towards a horror character?

@@Pad13 I was using hyperbole. You say that you can't feel sympathy for horror characters. Have you seen Frankenstein, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or The Wolfman? They feature characters who become monsters after unfortunate circumstances. They never ask for what happens to them.

Tombstone should have won so many Oscar awards. Val Kilmer is one of the best actors on earth. If you don’t like Tombstone something is wrong with you. That cast was perfect. Val was just the best as Doc Holiday. #I’ll be your Huckleberry ⭐️💗

At 3:03, if you watched it on tv, you could see the guy hiding where Kennan is standing getting ready to spray the guys again. I think that's why Kennan was slapping the counter to draw attention up there. This skit had me laughing 😂.

The episode where Frank plays a limo driver, Charlie a rich western oil baron, and Charlie ends up gratuitously vomiting blood pellets on an unsuspecting date and declares in a faux southern accent "I thiiink I got a touch of the consumption." See episode "Frank's Pretty Woman" A veritable classic.

“I liked it!” And her preferring to remain anonymous was really funny, too! But seeing all the fake coughing in NYC during Covid was pretty weird, and I kept being taken out of the sketch, wondering how safe it was (although it was so good!)

I'm a relative of John " Doc " Holiday and a major fan, I do cowboy shooting and though not as good as Doc I'm still pretty damn good and normally someone insulting him would piss me off but this was freaking hilarious. I loved it.

Ironically there was a movie a year after Tombstone called Wyatt Earp where Dennis Quad played Doc Holiday even sicker than Val Kilmer. Dennis Quad became anorexic so that he could drop 40 lbs to play the role.
