Happy Thanksgiving to you all ❤ wishing you health and happiness. I think I have the youngest Elvis fan. My 2 year old granddaughter loves him. When she gets to my truck she already makes her demands “ Nana, Hound Dog then it’s Teddy Bear”. She’s in her car seat singing and dancing away lol. It is the cutest thing to watch. Graceland should have bought Vernon’s house and opened the back gate and had it been part of the tour. I agree with Danny, it is a shame the shape it is in. So sad.

Funny that you mentioned the squirrels…….both times that I’ve been to Graceland, there were squirrels everywhere lol. I’ve never seen as many in the same place. We raised a baby raccoon once, its eyes weren’t even open when we got it.

I know I had a great childhood growing in the 70's when I think about the memories, it brings a tear to my eye but laughter and joy as well . Some of my early childhood memories involve listening to Elvis music my mama would constantly play on the stereo or the 8-track. In Atlanta back in the 50s, my aunt saw Elvis (early years) in concert. After the show, he supposedly spotted my aunt and asked her out for a date. She turned him down. I admit that maybe if she dated and later married him, he'd be my "Uncle Elvis". 😃 One big memory I have was when my mama received a phone call from that same aunt letting her know Elvis died. Mama was definitely shocked. Anyhow, I really enjoy your Elvis stories and wish y'all a Happy Thanksgiving. QUESTION: If Elvis had fired the Colonel, do you think Jerry Schilling would've become his manager?

QUESTION: If there had never been an Elvis Presley (God forbid), do you think anyone else would have been called "The King"? If so, who and why? I can't picture it myself and have seen people trying to say Chuck Berry, or Little Richard are the true king. I don't think so, since neither one of them even compared to Elvis. Elvis had it ALL!
