Kid Temper Tantrum's School Evacuated - What Happened? [ Original ]

Taylorsville Elementary School ( Leland's school ) was evacuated today. But why?
Today Mom and dad found out that their kid's school was evacuated due to a student bringing a "suspicious package" to school. See the step by step as the parents react as more and more details came in from both the school emails and the local news.
Later in the video hear Leland's point of view story as walks us through his crazy day at school.

I live in Murray Utah and I feel you guys, there’s crazy people all over the area, my family was panicking when there was that shooting at Fashion Place and we had a lockdown today at my Jr High because a kid threatened he’d bomb and shoot the school. Stay safe. West Valley (where I think you guys live) is the most dangerous part with crime in Utah. Stay safe once again.

I had an evacuation 2 years ago when I was in the ninth grade. It was the middle of recess; I was in the library and then the fire alarm went off, so we all started heading towards the grandstand and I thought it was just another test but then I actually saw smoke coming from the construction subject room and then I said, "oh crap this is an actual fire evacuation" and it turns out someone had left the laser cutter on, and it caught fire!

I was in the same grade as Leland ,and in the middle of social studies,fire alarm goes off and principal gets on the intercom and says to evaluate,30-1 hour later we come back inside to find out the alarm was messed up and were told not to get out of the building if the alarm went off again,luckily right after that it was straight to lunch

Worst of all, someone pranked my school, it happend on 12/13/18, and it said a bomb was in the school and it was in the stove, it got on fire and the Bethpage Fire Department came and caught the fire, all students were evacuated to the Bethpage High School and dismissed to buses and home. What a crazy day

I was in two lockdowns. In my middle school, two people had BB Guns, and they were both in 8th grade. On another lockdown, my high school lockdown, there was a stabbing that took place near our school.

At my high school, there was a guy who brought a BB gun to school. Luckily no one was killed or injured. There was another time a couple years ago before I was going to the high school now that a guy pulled up into a parking spot and had a lot of paintball guns in his trunk. Luckily no one was injured that time too. Also, in 2012, my school just got the J wing hall and while this being constructed, a man left his gun(an actual one) in a school bathroom so they had to shutdown for over half the day.

Something like this never happened to me at school. But when I was in high school, I heard that some kid lit off firecrackers is the hallways of my old middle school. Needless to say, that kid totally got expelled.

Here in ILLINOIS to every public place I go to nursing homes public libraries museums airports schools I always see a no Gun Sign on the doors people should always follow that rule I don't like guns they are too scary this not something to joke about especially dont pull the fire alarm in school to all students

I’ve never had an evacuation like this. The only times I had evacuations was because of snow or severe weather. It wasn’t really an evacuation it was more like an unexpected early dismissal but still that is terrifying.

One time at my high school Me and my friends were in 2nd hour and the fire alarm Went off and we had to line up Outside and like 10-30 minutes Later i saw a Fire Truck coming over by the building And i found out from a student around lunchtime that a Trash can caught on Fire.
