What you said sums up how I’ve been feeling towards his recent music because I’ve noticed that too. This song specifically. Like I won’t lie, I do enjoy this song but really it’s mostly because of the beat while the lyrics are just kinda...okayish, you know? What I mean is the lyrics don’t really compliment it all that well and just feel average and don’t really make sense. Like he could write something so much better that will give a way better feel of.....I guess emotion and like you said, power. I really hope he reads comments because I’m not tryna hate, I love Kid Travis, but lately these songs haven’t really been hitting the same.
