A lovely walk in this morning, John. Your mention of the “River Walk” took me back to ‘75 and San Antonio, Texas where I began my USAF Residency in Anesthesia. There was a gentleman who at Christmas time would play Christmas music on his Caribbean steel drums. He would whistle the tunes and positioned himself so that wherever you were on the River Walk, you could hear him. It was just beautiful to listen to.

I remember when the British navy came to practice maneuvers with ours in NC. They were some of the nicest bunch of people and I enjoyed them very much. We spent a few nights socializing together at the marina. My husband was stationed there at the time in the USMC! Love your troopers!

September 13, 2001 Her Majesty The Queen ordered The Royal Guard to play The Star Spangled Banner. As a traumatized American on that day, it brought me to tears knowing that was the utmost act of respect and support. I will never forget that. It irritates me to watch tourists disrespect the tradition, the pomp and circumstance, and the elegance of England and its people. Very fine people indeed, and very polite with the tourists.

Good afternoon John! I am laughing: the moment you entered the yard for the first time to have a look at the gatesman, you said something was different and you didn’t know what it was. But at the same moment you FILMED it: the shop was closed! How on earth didn’t you notice that??! It was fun 😊

Thank you for another great video. I've been in London a few times but have never seen it showing the sights like you are doing, (I'm north of the border). When you go on a visit you're so keen to see everything that you don't time to appreciate how beautiful the buildings are. That shot of the Houses of Parliament was just breathtaking, and the lovely Tristan back again.

Good morning! Since I'm unable to visit your amazing city, I'm live vicariously thru you! Your commentary is the best. I noticed something about the horses .. I don't know if it's for every horse, but I saw stamped into the reins was the horse's name, which happened to be Q10. It was up, about mid-jaw. And, what's up with those big families that follow the guards .. just staring? How rude!! Thank you!!

Another lovely walk showing us the sites in London , beautiful views along the river both sides . Houses of Parliament , I remember visiting there to see my uncle who was an MP , I won't say his name or which party ! 1976 , it was red hot , I was pregnant and very uncomfortable , he took us for lunch there , frankly it was awful , maybe the heat or pregnancy but I couldn't eat it ! You're right first Blues horse was gorgeous cloppy Kensington with his Victorian gentleman's moustache 😍 . I'll have to go back and look at the others , though I'm sure someone will identify them 😀. Tristan is such a sweetie , I can see him becoming a big favourite with viewers . What a moment for your gimble (?) to pack up right on the Blues dismount ! We'll see what happens in part 2 😁. Thanks John have a relaxing evening xxx
