I laughed at your horse whisperer of the day. The horse tapped his foot loudly but then gave her that look that says, “Enough, lady…move along! You are testing my last nerve!” Have a great week getting your always interesting videos. Cheryl in Dallas, Texas.

My nephew and his wife just got back from the UK. They had a great time. In London for a week. They visited her family. She was born here but family in England. He said that your country is gorgeous! They saw the guards at horse guards and the changing of the guards. He said your villages are so quaint! AND THEY saw a lot of the country in three weeks!

If I saw a boxed line around something, I'd know not to pass that, in a foreign country or not. It's common sense people.

People just using the public walkway have no choice sometimes than to cut across the box, there is literally no room

Great video again and well done gunners telling people to get out of the box John you need to get near the spammer and start talking again she will soon move 😂😂
@MaryDodds-l9r2 сағат бұрын
Not all the gunners enforced the rules though, there were some that let the tourists go right up and maul the horse, they were very lax

Are the different harnesses/reins between the chains and white ropes on the reds compared to the blues a tradition?

Hey John, Love both of the first Gunners! They were spot on protecting their horses and following the posted rules. I’m always vilified in my comments for faulting some of the guards for not speaking out or moving the horses forward aggressively like was done with the holding of the reins in the past. What is so hard to understand for both the guard and the tourists? Some of these Gunners have actually moved the horse over to the tourist so they could touch the horse??? Why??? People say well, some of the horses want to be petted but that’s not the point. These horses are working soldiers and should not deviate from their duty. Some of the guards just blatantly ignore the posted signs directly next to them. How are you in the military and not obey rules? However, all in all, 90% of the guards do say something and are a credit to their uniform. Last week one of the Gunners was ignoring people standing shoulder to shoulder with the horse just staring off into the distance. A foot soldier in camouflage literally came running around the box and directly told the Gunner the rules of the box, even pointing out the parameters to the Trooper. The Gunner nodded but I don’t know that it will have any effect. This Gunner was in your video standing guard in the left in the compound. Hopefully the other regiments will return soon. Love your running commentaries 👏👏👏 Sending respect from San Diego, California!

A hurricane in London! Terrifying. A wise and sensible move by the Met. After all the bridge is crossed by thousands every day. The Met would not want the public to feel alarmed and frightened.
