My backyard and what I learned. As I shared in an earlier video I've really struggled with my anxiety recently. When I came home the other day, I saw my flowers in my backyard and I saw how much they have grown. This really made me think about my ambitions in my life, and how important it is to allow them the space to grow without always checking in on our progress.

*The purpose of my channel is to inspire you to live the best life you can the way you choose to live it. A life with intention, passion, and clarity. I've struggled with Binge Eating Disorder, morbid obesity, relationship issues, and losing my brother to suicide. I've learned that my messes can become my successes and I hope these videos help you discover that as well.

Well said Matt! As always, your video was highly relatable to my life right now and some of the issues/feelings I'm trying to navigate through. Thanks for sharing!

First, totally jealous of your garden. It looks so peaceful. I reconnected with my best friend from elementary school this week because it was her birthday. She was born in Canada, but her parents moved here as adults from Korea. There were some things that were very Korean about their household - one being the food that they ate. My earliest experiences of another culture were at her house. I ate kimche and seaweed - I learned to be adventurous and accepting of differences through my friend. She told me the first turkey dinner she had was at my house. They experienced "Canadian life" through my family. We weren't even aware that we were planting seeds in each other's lives. Sometimes we're lucky, and get to see the fruits of our labour. Other times we have no idea how far the ripples of our lives extend. I was fortunate to have many adults who were positive role models when I was a teenager. They probably have no idea that seeds they planted in my young life are still bearing fruit.
