My guess is that the land that all was houses were built on is haunted or cursed. They built the houses on top of something they shouldn’t have.

The houses were probably built on a graveyard site

Reminds me of the movie Poltergeist. Where a housing development was built on top of an Indian graveyard. The headstones were removed but the body remains weren't. ☠️

Yeah after everything that happened why would you leave Jamie or anyone alone in the house and if i were Jamie i sure as hell wouldn't be staying alone in the house..id either go along or I'd stay at a friends or relatives..basically anywhere but staying here at home especially alone and at night..i mean come on people!! Is strange, in my country I lived in a 300 year old home that was always cold but never saw anything. Here in California I lived in an apartment built in the 1940s, and my friends would tell me they would see shadows (I never believed them), then a Muslim friend told me that there were shadows in my house, I didn’t believe it. My friend told me if I ever saw anything, I would tell her no. She told me that when she was small she would sleep over in that apartment with her brother and friend, and the closet door would always shut closed and no one would believe them, and that they would see strange things. So I was creeped out, but never experienced anything. Afterwards I got a cat 🐈 and dog 🐕 since they can see spirits, now I sleep 🛌 with my two Yorkies and my mom with her cat 🐱 since they sense the paranormal. I am never going to live without an animal.

People called the husband stupid for throwing out the cat statue angering the demon. I'd argue that the wife was stupid for taking her friends advice by giving it a peace offering. People don't seem to understand that demons are evil, peace doesn't exist in their vocabulary.

They don't know it's a demon, they don't know what it is, no advice is good or bad because they don't know what they're dealing with or what would be effective. It's not like there's well documented proof of how to deal with demons either, a lot of people have different explanations for how to deal with it and all claim that they know what they're talking about.

@@wolfandspice I'd have to disagree due to it being a super natural force you just don't get into contact with these things. Overall it was dumb mistake to do.

Here’s another typical cliche that always happens in these types of stories either in media or whatever: why do all the hauntings always start when the guy is gone? It’s always when the women or woman is home alone and the guy is always the skeptic.

I know I'm late but if this is Moreno Valley, CA, I grew up in that town. Went to Sunnymead Middle and Moreno Valley High School. It was always quiet except for the occasional homeless crackhead or typical ambulance/police sirens 😆. I do however recall a single particular night from my teenage years which happened ironically around halloween. Me and my step brother came back from the Riverside fair where we created our own decorative masks at an arts/crafts display. He for the fun of it created a mask depicting supposed demonic symbolism and I, to be funny yet somewhat seriously, created a suns mask to counteract the supposed darkness. That night when we returned home with the masks and everyone was asleep, me and him heard the most loud horrifying blood-curdling shrieking noise we had ever heard. It caused our hairs to stand on end and we were literally unable to move for over an hour paralyzed in fear. It became very cold and we couldnt move to warm ourselves up. It was a quiet neigborhood and nothing around could have explained it. Wasn't a swerving car, wasn't a woman screaming, and it was in the middle of a suburban neighborhood far from nature so it was also very unlikely to have been an animal. To this day that screaming sound remains etched into my mind and we still cant explain what it was. Even still have a picture of us wearing the masks from all those years ago when we were still kids. This story may very well be fake as hell, but our experience sure as heck wasnt 😬

After binge watching bunch of paranormal shows and hunters I'm so numb to things. Already had personal experience with a spirit caught on our security cams or flew threw 5 cameras....in different rooms solid walls..

I don’t get why people freak out about stuff like this, I mean your literally holding a golden ticket to prove ghosts/spirits exist. Use that and become famous as the person who proved their real, why run away?
