@@Biostar96 Deathbed confessions or final words are actually taken very seriously and held in high regard. People about to die are extremely unlikely to lie especially when it would incriminate their own image

The lack of motive and evidence would've compounded and he most likely would've been freed. Again at least now death bed confessions or accounts are held extremely high by a jury and I'd imagine it would be the same for a judge. Not like they had any evidence he did it to begin with my dude

Your comparison of Lizzy Borden to this case. The same situation was at hand. The cops assumed Lizzy did it. But had no concrete evidence to prove it. And she didn't give her father 40 wacks. That rhyme was made up by an unknown person. He was hit around 11-12 times by a hatchet. She was acquitted. Love y'all's reactions to Mr. Ballen stories. Watch them everytime. ❤
