in a way mich, this cartoon describes what happens when artists sign to labels. they go from being music artists to looking like "cartoons" of their former selves. The kidd video series was , in a way, a glimpse into what happens when an artist signs their talent away on the dotted line.

Unbelievable. I was driving and “tainted love” came on. After more than 30 yrs it all the sudden came rushing back! I had to Google it. “80’s show where band turns into cartoon”. It popped right up and here I am 15 mins later. And they say time machines don’t exist…I’m there all over again

I use to like this cartoon back in the 80, especially when they had music videos that break away from the cartoon for a quick minute or so. I was sad they cancled the show. They should put this one on DVD or even a bootleg.

I'll admit to watching this in the 80's. It's so funny to look back at stuff from the past-corny! Anyway am I the only one who thought Master Blaster looks like Eddie Arcadian from The Last Dragon movie? The 80's & 90's were pretty cool & funny at the same time with lots of interesting memories....

LOL! @ 14:40 Noam Kaniel,same dude who did the theme for Power Rangers Samurai! With Saban's name up there as well. And another trivia tidbit : Carla originated the phrase "Ai yi yi!" before Alpha 5 did! They should have done a "Power Rangers"-like concept for this show with live-action instead of a cartoon,lol! But I love this show,I miss it! Thank you! :)

mich , in a way, the kidd video series made a commentary on the real music scene, especially then. When artists sign their names on dotted lines, they become "cartoons". of their former selves. They go to flidside (L.A.) where they have to deal with copycats (tribute bands).

In October on the 26th I’ll be turning 50, but like I posted many times already on the internet they need to start getting these 1980’s cartoons out on Blu-ray already! Because if they don’t we are still the lost generation that had it good 👍🏻 when it came to those cartoons! Wake up movie and cartoon industry! I've got an .mp3 of the full length 3:32 version of the theme song that I found YEARS ago on some .mp3 sharing program... probably on the original Napster, it was so long ago! It was apparently ripped from an Israeli Kidd Video album. I guess Kidd Video was just really popular in Israel?
