As someone with narcolepsy/hypersomnia, I can tell you that the border between wake and sleep can be so thin that you don't even realize the difference. It's a shame that the story ended like this. Sleepiness is likely a much higher factor for dangerous accidents than we realize. For him, he has to live with that for the rest of his life, knowing that he got to wake up after taking 5 other lives. I can't imagine how awful it would be to live like that in jail and then go out back into society. I hope that there's some sort of support system for people charged with involuntary manslaughter.

I know working at a truck company, there are laws about rest and drive times. I don't know if it's universal across all truck companies, but truckers have to take 14 hours break time between drives. Which probably wasn't a thing back in 2006.

Literally everything that you said doesn't change the topic, if you feel even a bit tired while driving, you are taught to make the nearest stop and fall asleep at a hotel and or etc. After continuing to drive despite being tired makes you responsible for the following accidents that could occur. He isn't a murder, but he also definitely isnt a "victim"

@@robertoviskovic876 You would do well to look into the science behind sleep attacks. Sleep attacks in particular have no preceding sleepiness before it occurs. One must be aware of said state of consciousness to act on it. During my sleep testing, I was thinking coherently and looking around my room thinking I was awake. Turned out, I was sleeping during every test. Please don't speak so ignorantly when scientific research has become so accessible. I'm not here to argue about rules and regulations of trucking, simply the perspective of someone who is a victim to a medical disorder. And while majority of individuals don't have a rare sleeping disorder, most people don't realize they're dozing off until it's too late.

I know for some reason the Mr Ballen community that watches these reactions don't like it when it is paused, for whatever reason, but if you pause more and talk about your thoughts and feelings with information given so far I have noticed that there isn't a CR strike on the video. I find it more entertaining seeing people work their way through the story and guess what is going to happen and you won't have to stop doing it. Anyone that watches a reaction and tells you "you talk too much almost is if you are reacting to something..." is an idiot in my opinion and you shouldn't listen to their wishes lol.

True Like its different when people don't really pay attention because they talk over it for example.. or check themselves out in the camera, but Kidd and Cee actually pause and talk about the story so wtf is the problem these people have 😭 Like pausing is just bad, if it causes you to miss out on something.. So music reactions where people notoriously pause before the beat drops and thus ruin the song, need to get their reaction game together but these two just do their job 😔

Hey guys, your videos might be getting taken down because Mr. Ballen's intro music is Copyrighted now. The KZbin Channel "CampCrystalCharlie" mutes the intro due to this new change. So the next video you upload of Mr. Ballen, mute the intro music to see what happens. I think that'll solve it. Cause it's been copyrighted since last year.
