Shantae got the correct sentence for what she did. Every opportunity that she was presented a choice to save Greg’s life, she chose to protect herself. That he suffered needlessly for hours because of her says it all. What would’ve been a DUI charge turned into a 50 year sentence.
@AcornSmokes42010 ай бұрын
Now dui are getting harsher sentence in some states but she would spend 5yrs for dui depending like you said if she helped and stayed

And because she didn't go to the cops, she ended up getting an even worse punishment; many years in prison.

T-Fry could have saved that man’s life. She could have even thought about what she would do for an hour or two and he still might have lived if what the medical examiners said was true. I would’ve turned Shontay in so quick. You clearly dgaf about me if you’re trying to involve me in a homicide.

I agree! Sleep it off in the car. I’ve done it before. Few years back i left a friends apartment real late after a party. I realized i was way to drunk when i got down to my car, friends had gone to sleep and so i crawled my ass into the backseat of my car. Drove home 9am the next morning no DUI, and didnt kill a pedestrian.

I still feel like T Fry should've gotten time as well. She knew longer than the men and had more chances to save his life. As if they needed her testimony...the car and blood evidence...

That’s probably the reason why. She didn’t want to get into trouble of any kind, she was looking out for herself.

I really think it comes down to her not waiting to go to jail but of course she did make the decision to drive home anyway. This is just a story with a lot of what ifs that just have you thinking about somewhat trivial scenarios that could end up being downright terrible. I always offer up my place to stay cause it's usually not far from the nightlife,

50 yrs, 10 each for the men and immunity. Grrrrrr, hell no. I believe in forgiving but I could have forgiven them if they had all got the sentences they deserved. My dad's life would have been way worth more than what they got. They all made their individual choices in the situation. And to think he could have been saved and the pain and agony they caused him. 😕 He raised a good son. 👍 crap like this just pisses me off so bad.

If something like this happened to a member of my family, knowing that he could be saved somehow, I would not be able to forgive. Never ... It is true that hatred and resentment will end up destroying me, but the only one who is able to forgive is God. I am not God. So I leave forgiveness for those who are able to forgive. I am not one of those.

If the person responsible was given the death penalty, would it be too far to ask to watch that person get put down, for full closure on the whole thing?
@ShadowSoul92 Жыл бұрын
@@badger_shorts7708 Unfortunately in Italy we do not have the death penalty. Honestly if I were a family member of a murder victim, and the perpetrator was also a member of my family, I'd be in the front row to see the execution. Not because I like it, but because some people (unless it's self-defense) don't deserve to be in the world. In Italy today we have an anarchist/terrorist who is on a hunger strike to be removed from 41-bis (aka isolation), and I honestly don't care if he decides to die of hunger and thirst just to get his sentence changed. At this point the death penalty would be the most humane thing for certain beings.
