Agreed! Ima. Single dad of 2 teen girls and a baby girl and this story horrifies me, these and the countless kidnapping and trafficking videos! Her parents would hve never suspected her best friend would kill her, so how do you protect your babies when scenarios like these happen? Wish I could move my girls to a deserted island safe from all this modern insanity today! 😢

I started carrying it when one my boys pepper sprayed himself in the face. He was in the shower fully clothed for 30 minutes at least with cold water & I brought him pots full of ice water to dunk his face in. NJ tough guy crippled for 30+ minutes. If it was life or death I’m sure he could have tried to fight if need be but would be severely handicapped. I bet if you get good pepper spray contact on the aggressor you could run away or subdue them & certainly call the cops. It came out that skylar woke up during a sleep over to the other 2 having sex , they were having a relationship with each other while also having boyfriends , that’s when they began distancing themselves , it became relevant because a social media post by skylar said something close to “if only the world knew what I know.” Hinting about her friends being bisexual . Both friends parents were very Christian and this getting out scared the 2 , jsut after this post on social media , skylar was killed by the 2. THERES a bunch of KZbin videos on the crime that explain more. So so sad! As a protective dad of daughters , this is terrifying. These were her 2 best friends, no parent would think to worry about their daughters best friend and new friend would kill their child. So sad!!

True psychopaths, I’m 50 and I could not have been cool as a cucumber like these girls. Sheila was definitely the ring leader and probably filled Rachel’s head with shit like Skylar said this about you and kept on and on. Then Rachel had her mental break down which shows she did have true remorse. Crazy to think she gets out next year though
@TheAngryXenite
@TheAngryXenite Жыл бұрын
@@reneeholcomb205 Nah, having a break doesn't mean she felt *remorse.* It means she was stressed out enough to confess. If memory serves from other videos about this, the cops suspected the two of them for a while and Rachel snapped because the anxiety of getting caught got to her. She turned herself in to end the suspense of waiting for the day, basically. Maybe she really was remorseful, but from her apology I suspect she was really just sorry that now she has to suffer consequences for what she did rather than particularly feeling bad over doing it.

This case is crazy. My personality helped me out of a toxic friendship. In middle school i was friends with two girls who i have known before we even started kindergarten. I am not sure why but we fell out. They started rumors and harassed me, and tried to get in fights with me. They also tried to fight me at school, so they tried to get me to hit them first so 1 thier friends can see and 2 so they wouldn't get in trouble. I knew this so I never hit them first. I started dating this boy that I didn't know one of the girls dated before and was cheating on me with her. So she tried to fight me over that during school, which was when I found out he was cheating on me. During our argument, I simply in front of everyone turned to him and i ended the relationship and told her she know has him and don't be sad when he cheats on you with other girls. I over time realized that things were escalating so i moved schools. Folks need to Learn to recognize red flags and cut off the relationship before it gets to this level.

I followed this case when it was taking place, and most of the high school kids and people following the case through social media already suspected that these 2 had killed her. It seems like the police also suspected this, but did not have any real evidence and were basically waiting for one of the girls to slip up and give them what they needed (they had no body, no motive, etc.). The spot where they killed her was actually family land of one of the 2 killers, I forget which.

Usually with people like them, it might just be they didn't like her anymore. But you have to remember, they aren't like you or me. They are quite literally, hotwired differently. That's what makes a murderous psychopath. Being an entirely different thing in general. So, yes, it's bland reasoning. But the reasoning isn't why they killed her. You know what I mean?
@TheAngryXenite
@TheAngryXenite Жыл бұрын
@@lucasbroome1048 Eh, that's not really how it works. There's a lot of bad intel about the mentally ill, and even sociopathic types get misrepresented pretty badly because of how terrifying in concept they are. For one, they're neither smarter than most people (in fact their average IQ is below average) nor inherently violent. People with Antisocial Personality Disorder have degraded or nonexistent empathy for others, meaning they do not connect with the feelings of other people and therefore feel little attachment to people beyond personal utility. This is not to say they feel NO attachment to anyone, but it's more analogous to a favorite toy than a loved one. Anyway, they don't really care about others for their own sake, but this doesn't mean they automatically jump to VIOLENCE. Many sociopaths go day to day, living a perfectly normal life, because they aren't quite deluded enough to believe violence will solve their problems. They also experience, among other things, poor impulse control and a pathological need for stimulation, so they tend to do things without really thinking them through (again, they're not usually geniuses, most are low-functioning assholes) and their primary concern is entertaining themselves. Again, these can make them more likely to engage in violence (they're worse at controlling any violent impulses they do have and if it's funny enough to them it might override their caution), but only if they particularly want to engage in violence already. I suspect what happened with Sheila and Rachel is that Skylar knew something compromising about them and they wanted that nipped in the bud. Not sure how true this is, but apparently they might have been engaged in a relationship secretly and didn't want to risk her outing them if they broke off their friendship? Perhaps though, Sheila might just have been waiting for an excuse to sate some depraved bloodlust she'd always had, or perhaps she had always resented Skylar for seeming to have too charmed a life and it made her jealous.

Shelah was suspect the moment she asked, 'Is Skylar home?' because the parents told Shelah that Skylar wasn't home and that if anything came up, she was to let the parents know, so Shelah would've known that Skylar was missing from the start, plus, she would know that if Skylar were home, her parents would let her know that, because they're supposedly close friends, plus, the more natural thing to say would've been something like 'I haven't found her yet, have you?' not 'Is Skylar home?' because that assumes that she's been found. How did the parents not see through that? I may not be the smartest, but that question would've sounded odd to me, because not only does it assume that she's within the same city, it also assumes that she's been found.

really ? plz don’t tell me it’s because of shelia and rachel being gay so they tryna justify what they did ? cause they obvi don’t have no heart at all and should have absolutely no support, plus ik coming out is hard but , this was 2010+, you won’t get crucified horribly by peers for being gay so that can’t be the complete reason either

@@bbylenneee6971 I'm pretty sure it's just the usual for the internet. Some people fetishize murderers, serial killers, etc. Often literally.

Seriously? Ya’ll drove 45 minutes to get high? I was a stoner at one point. I never drove 45 min to smoke a joint. I might… MIGHT… drive 45 minutes to get a month’s worth of weed. I damn sure ain’t driving 45 minutes to get high and drive 45 minutes back while I’m high. Yeah, I get that the rest of the story is bonkers, but the basics if the story are just weird as hell. Who drives 45 minutes to sit on a hill and get stoned?

you clearly don’t understand the story and it shows. they were never going to get high to begin with. they set her up so they could kill her, hence why shelia asked skylar to go and get her lighter from her car. not only that but why they both stood up while skylar had her back turned and proceeded to stab her.

@@UndyingHatred_ I did understand that silly sally, that’s why the 45 minute drive didn’t make any sense. If my friends were like “hey let’s drive 45 minutes to smoke weed” I’d get suspicious of what they were planning. If that isn’t a red flag to you, you may want to take a look at your life choices.

@Tortuga I agree. That sounds suspicious in itself especially if you aren’t as close with the other two people, to go late at night far away in one of their cars (not yours) didn’t make sense to me.
