I totally agree with Cee and Kidd about the instructor telling Duncan to go back on his own..I also had the same thought..the instructor knowing it was his 1st time shouldn't have told Duncan to go practice by himself especially after it rained and it was foggy plus he should have warned Duncan about the crevasses or at least found out if Duncan was aware of the dangers..I as an instructor would never have actively encouraged a beginner to go out alone after just a couple of hours of lessons and especially not after a storm! The instructor should have been more aware and Duncan who was also very athletic became overconfident and began going faster and faster but because he wasn't aware of the dangers didn't think much about it and unfortunately he got hurt but with no one around to help him he was stuck and whats more sad is he could have lived but then the worker happened and after he was mutilated he was still alive he might have been saved if the worker hadn't of so heartlessly killed him so to me this man didn't just die he was murdered twice 1st by the instructor and then by the worker who finished the job.
