There was a certain feeling of relief when I finished the Makeb datacron(my last one). Like “I don’t have to do this anymore…”, It’s weird, because it started as a bit of fun just jumping around and getting some stats boost, but towards the end it became a matter of pride and honour. Thanks for the guide.

I think the developers themself made the datacrons and then revealed their location and a little guide with It.

I've been back in the game for a few months now after being away for a few years. Decided to get all the datacrons I missed out on. That second one was one of the most tedious and frustrating experiences I have ever encountered in a game. But, when I finally got it, I let out a big sigh of relief and actually felt a hint of pride. But there is no question I couldn't have done it without this guide. Thank you for this and the others.

Great Video and made getting the datacrons so easy. I will say there is one thing i would like to add. For jumping down, instead of space + jump, i turned off my run and walked backwards. It is very slow and very precise.

i feelt disponted on rish tho when i finally got the datcrons and there were no crats the gathering one on rish the endurance on Markab and finding people to help me with the 2 person ones was the hardest challenges

Finally have I finished it today...after several dozens of tries and failes - Thank you for the guide. Disabling Run into Walk with 1 button the " / " on the Num Pad helps in the rail walks up to the pipes, but disabling Sprint makes it more precise and controllable. )))

I wanted to give a thumbs down because I am such a fail jumper and I want SWTOR devs eatin alive by sharks for putting so many jumps into datacron acquisition, but ended up giving it a thumbs up because it's not Kid Lee's fault SWTOR's devs are sadistic insects that deserve a pencil in the eye for making players have to do so many hard jumps and his are the best guides for getting datacrons.

Thank you. Took me about 4 tries. There's a couple of points that will automatically kill you if you go towards the wrong wall. It's real weird, I didn't fall or anything. I was just going to look over an edge when he died for no reason. Very annoying. Missed that lift jump onto the tower platform too. It's best just to wait till it stops at the top and jump from there. I have no idea how anyone figures these out without some inside knowledge. This video is much appreciated. TY.

Great guide as always , but one tiny thing - the 1st jump ; you don't have to do it !!!!! if you look from where you jump to the right you will see a raised area which you can get to , it has 3 beasts on it but you can quickly jump down onto the area 1st jump takes you too and they do not follow. This just a pointer especially if you cannot make that 1st jump.

Fantastic guide!S!, explaining how to jump.."Precision Jump" and detailing tips and tricks with camera control really made it possible for me to get all of the Empire datacrons. Following your posts. Thank you for making this guide. Whoever dreamed up the path to this datacron needs fired. Then set on fire. One thing I want to point out is that when you get to the lift, you should wait until it is all the way at the top before you attempt to jump off of it. I died a couple of times because I didn't wait long enough. After I got past that, I kept having trouble with the final jump from the rocks onto the steel beam (after the terrifying slide down), but I finally got it. Thanks again.

An easier means of your jump-tap technique when you need to fall off a ledge without going too far is to just toggle your run/walk to walk and step off the ledge, just to make your life a little easier in the future. Otherwise, very good, very helpful video. Thanks for posting it!

Best guides I have seen so far, I REALLY suck at jumping and such, so these are hard for me anyways lol. Made it all the way to the ascending and descending lift, without screwing up once! Amazing for me (probably not for anybody else) Glitched on the lift while I was watching the guide here, seeing where to get off, and fell to my death... trying again another day...

Awesome guide, you explain very well, how jump, where go and the most important thing you show also "big map" and it help so much. A lot of guides have just gameplay when they go for datacron without voice and without map, so really good work! Like and Sub for that! Waiting for more videos like that!

The last tricky jump at ~15:30. I found if you aim for the gold pipe, you make it to its base. You can also catch an upper ledge and over shoot and still hit the base or the steel bar.

You can jump up the rocks near the first one. It takes a bit of jumping, but is less frustrating

With some of the new class abilities in 4.0. Are there any you find useful in getting awkward datacrons? I was thinking before you attempt that jump on say a sorcerer using phase walk. Then if you miss that jump, phase back to that pipe. I have not tried it yet. But I was wondering about Rocket Out and Mad Dash as well. If they are useful. Glad Datacrons are now bind on legacy. I am finding Phase Walk really useful for those awkward moments. When you dont quite make the jump or you accidently fall off.

i truly hope the dev who came up with the second one gets to do this in real life... every single day... that jump from the lift that goes up is almost impossible and you gotta redo EVERYTHING if you miss it... F that.

Hi nice Guide just a notice you dont need to kill the Mobs @ 07:42 and the mobs @ 12:24, the Mobs @ 07:42 you just can pass on the left with no aggro and the Mobs @ 12:24 you can drive away from till they deaggro.

If you miss that pipe and land on the lip below it you can just follow it and get into the large pipe on the opposite side and jump over to get the datacron. I know cus I just did it :)

The +10 endurance is the worst ive seen since +10 all stats. I'd rather wait on the tatooine jawa balloon. Probably even on the old pvp servers than deal with the +10 endurance. I felt my acrophobia setting in with every jump more and more...

Good video! It would all be great if jumping mechanics would be a little bit better, there is absolutely no guarantee that youll go all the way, do everything right and fail on some dumbass jump, die and end up back where you started.

This is worse than the Taris heroic area one. That was fun compared to this one. This datacron features more bullshit deaths than I can count. The game will just outright autokill you if you step in certain areas. Awkward platforming in a game with controls not designed for platforming is just an awful idea and after about 12 tries now I'm debating if this datacron is even worth it. Horrible experience.

No one is forcing you to get it. This is just a vid to HOW to get it. And if you want to get the achievements. And you do know that all stats adds up when you do open world PvP. And those 100 health points can be important.

never got the leap of elevator plat one its so wrong to miss lag due it leads to darkness -such a datacromery path is ok until then if not tedious if you are sith the pub have a handy base at start so its nice so watchign guide again its the second one as sith [long creative nice looking path but can platform it well tried many dif classes cant time a phase walk to save us either aw if you fall it means followign the whole path again to fight and maybe fall its so painful its hard alone.. what helps is a pull or jump to so much a good plat person leads and pulls or u leap to them so much daster and still failed near end cause the pull knocked us into side of wall years ago havent been back

Like most of people said, the endurance datacron was for me a fuckin pain to get. I needed 7 tries, I died most of the time at the very very end it was really frustating and stresful ! The fact Datacrons exists is very cool but making them provide an stat amelioration is not great because if you want your char to be optimised you have to find them all whether you like or not this kind of challenge...

i almost got this the first time i slide down the mountain and i went to go jump onto the beam, i didnt jump and slipped off the mountain :) i did it the second time much quicker
