I was so done at that point, the accumulation of nerves from all previous jumps and drops and then having to land on a corner through a tiny hole... I gave up 😂 I remember doing the Nar Shadaa datacrons and thinking "this is hard enough already", these Makeb and Mek-sha are another whole level

I'll drink for the second. Crons in the second half of the story chapters like either "phhh, simple enough", or "come on, I've done already ten thousand brink of blade kinda mortal jumps, there are another million??? Whoever located cron in THAT ass of the map is kinda sadist".

The Endurance datacron feels like a legit achievement. Like when I got it, I was really proud. Three deaths, all in different spots, but none after I actually made that moving platform jump right before "the real jumping puzzle." Kudos to Illeva for the guide, and to anyone/everyone who ever did that before there were guides for it.

About the second datacron: Screwing up anywhere on this route (unless stuck = varying results) will force you to start all over again. That may be some serious backtracking.... Also: - There is absolutely no need for any rockets on that jump on appx 9:15 in the video. It's actually a GREAT advantage to land on the lower part, since you don't have to carefully get down. And while trying to get down there, there's a huge chance to get stuck, which puts you on the previous elevator. Happened no less than 4 times for me. - While going for that last beam at 10:23, JUMP. If you try to slide, you'll slide to the left and die. Thanks for the great video, btw :)

took me 6 hrs to get the endurance datacron, OMG, and on three of the tries I would land on the beam from the metal platform that you landed on right at the last part and it was fine for like 2 secs and then the game would say died and put me at the Republic camp. So funny though the last try that I was able to get it I went sliding down the cliff in the last part, lost control, hit the rocks really bad, thought I was going to die and landed on a totally different beam that allowed me to get to the datacron, I guess the game decided to finally give it to me LOL

Just came back to the game after years of not playing. Decided it was time to get all the Datacrons. Thanks for these videos, though that endurance one should have been an achievement all on it's own. I died 4 times, had to take a 15 minute breather before finally getting it. My hands were so damn clammy when I was done. I don't know how anyone ever found some of these thing before there were guides. Thanks again! :)

Tip for the Rocket Boot jump. Don't hug the wall (on the right) while trying to land on the platform. The engine janked out on me and I got "caught" right on the platform, but the game suddenly decided that I had died and had to start over. Just aim for the middle. It only took me two tries with this guide.

I just got the endurance datacron thanks to your guides. This one was the most stressful platform for me since pitioss dungeon in FFXV where theres a 30 minute video guide on getting through it with no mistakes. I'm collecring all the datacrons using your guides. Theyre the best! The tricky ones are so satisfuing once tou pull them off, i even took time to get some.screenshots. I got to the moving platform and attempted to jump onto the grey platform on my mount but I got clipped and just fell off the platform to my death, I quoted Noctis when he said "I'm not giving up that easy"

The first jump where you drop onto the pipe (at 1:40), if you go as far right as you can and look down the base of the pipe is almost below you. You can walk directly off onto it, FYI. ON THE SECOND ONE: Last big fall onto the steel beam before the datacron (at 10:20), JUMP. Don't fall, the ledge is a slight plane and you'll slide off to the left and fall to your death. Found this one out on try number 5...

It was created by developers and then they leaked the instructions... Needless to say this is way too stupid, the point of this should be that you can see the datacron and figure a way to it... this is just frustrating 😤

I tend to be one who finds these sorta things on my own by chance. Usually stems from boredom and just jumping on random platforms tbh. I've done it since the 90s console gaming. Also tend to get toons bugged in record timing every new game release I play cause of it 😂

Oh my goodness... Thank you Illeva! On the rocket boots section I got my character stuck on the edge of the platform TWICE and both times the game teleported me back to the elevator. At least I didn't fall to my death but it was super stressful but I managed to get it without having to restart from the very beginning. Phew!~~

Just wanted to say thank you for the guide. Using the / key to toggle run and walk also helped a lot for jumping on some beams/pipes to keep from over shooting as well as falling down. The jump where you sugggested rocketboots also works fine with mount.

Got the endurance one on my third or fourth try. The first time I missed the jump where you need rocket boost, missed it one more time. Now I got to the slidey rock and missed it there thinking I was going to hit the bottom platform but no, there was a piece of the mountain sticking out and it pushed me away from it and I died lol. After knowing all of my mistakes, we finally get it. Took about 2 hours for me. Thank you for the guide!

With the last one on Ossus (which appears bugged for me, on top of the stupidity of running/fasttravelling around like a lunatic), the insanity of the rare-spawning pigs on Rishi and the second one here, I think we are safe to say that whoever designs those locations has a sense of humour, a hate against fun and an axe to grind against the players. Seriously, puzzles like that are fine in games with a smooth movement system, no glitching, no getting stuck and no jumps-not-triggering-incidents. Alternatively, one with a quicksave function. The shorter puzzles can be fun - especially if they offer something special, like the Indy-Jones-like one on Onderon - but long, difficult and boring is a fairly asinine mix on top of the movement system not being entirely suited for jump and run to begin with. Just to clarify, thanks to your guide I managed to get this one, but it was more an adrenaline-drive than an enjoyable experience.

Agreed 100% I thought the Datacron on the fleet was bad, this one I had to give up on, the janky controls are annoying on their own, but combine that with wonky jumps, uneven terrain and other such madness and you get a recipe for a headache that just isn't worth it imo. I died five times before I gave up, kudos to those who managed it but omg it damn near instilled a psychotic hatred of the game in me lol

So for the second datacron, I found using the Sith Juggernaut's "Mad Dash" worked for the jump you said "this is where the real jumping puzzle begins". It put me on the lower one, but was still able to nab it first try.

first datacron ur angle jumping to the last darker pipe was kinda lucky, i fell down 3 or 4 times -.- then i took a diff angle, standing more on the short part where the lighter pipe goes to the left and it worked 1st try anyway, ur videos do help, so thx

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but at about the 2 min mark in your video, the Presence datacron, there's no need to jump from pipe to pipe to pipe. Once you fall onto the first one, you can just walk back towards the cliff wall and walk up on, maybe a secure jump, to the big base thing. Trying to aim jumps in this game is deplorable. I hope my vernacular with the description is understandable. I'm just saying that when it comes to parkor in this game, less is definitely better so I hope this helps.

2 tries for the second datacron. That was such a pain. Fell to my death jumping drom the elevator to the platform right near the end... second time through I made it, but slipped off that grey triangle and thought I messed up. Thankfully you can scrabble from that point down to the next beam part and make it to the datacron!

1:55 Couldn't make that jump to next pipe. Each time I would walk off and fall. After countless times, I manage to land on the ledge where your companion is standing. Worked my way around from there was pretty easy. 8:15 Landing on platform, I ended up clipping through. It looked like I was running in place in mid air. /stuck didn't work and was about to use QT, but finally phased back on top of platform.

Whoever placed that 2nd holocron there should be forced to go to bed without supper for the rest of their natural life. I practically made it on my 1st try, and then I ran too close to the edge while making that last jump down onto the beam, slipped down the side and fell and had to start over 3 times more before finally getting it. Two times of which I got stuck during the 'you might need rocket boots' part, with the game deciding to just black screen kill me completely unfairly. Still, thanks for the guide...now I need to calm down for a bit.

On my 30th try on the first one, I slipped on the bronze pipe and fell to the small railing right below it, and thought to myself.... this is it; Im done no more . . . . . . . . . And then Darth Baras calls out to me through the force and gives me a speech worthy of the gods.... and I do a jump turn expecting the worst, but land on the inside of the pipe. The datacron is only 15 mts away and I cry, praying for his forgiveness for Darth Baras is always right..... Amen

From the start of the Endurance datacron guide she should have mentioned its best to use a Sorcerer so you can activate Phase Walk at the critical jump point, in case you miss.

As an Imp with no stealth it is a mess getting past the pubs some days and we have fallen too many times from the last elevator to the platform.. the respawn is so far for that one as an imp. once tried w a shadow and 2 sages w pull they kept pulling us into a wall and then we bounced off and respawn. always thought this would be a nice spot for the Miggs? magna grapple..

Makeb really took the cake in "unreasonable jumping puzzles". Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine were bad enough with those "waiting for slow ass platforms" but this one is just ridiculous. How people were supposed to figure it out in the first place? Making them hard is one thing, making them annoying is another. Also im so goddamn tired of jumping not registering 9 out of 10 times. Even when i make a running start the game just doesn't register the jump. Never had that issue in any mmo i ever played. GW2 had a billion jumping puzzles but it would never just ignore me pressing spacebar.

Jumping puzzles in this game is different to other mmo, I completely agree. It's taken a long journey of experience to get used to it, but now it sticks.

@@IllevaSWTOR I've started playing swtor 10 days ago and the thought that keeps coming to my mind "this feels like a Chinese knockoff mmo". There are just so many small issues and niggles, and bugs, and quirks, and annoyances. Jumping puzzles feel like something hastily slapped on in a garage by a temp worker, simply aren't thought-through. Im on my fifth try now, i've somehow made it to the very end every time only to gently slide down the very last beam either because jump didn't register or phase walk somehow killed me (apparently it still registers falling damage if you place it below yourself). Thank you for all those tutorials by the way. Didn't stop my eye from twitching but they do help.

Disclaimer: You can't get the second datacron if you don't have high enough def. Some of the jumps will just straight up kill you no matter what. Had to get on my tank toon for it xD

Damage from falling is percentage based, not flat. While its true, from a raw numbers perspective, that a "Tank" will take more damage then a "DPS" or "Healer" suffers. The actual amount is the same. A fall that kills a Tank will kill a DPS, A fall that kills a DPS will kill a Tank.

On my second attempt I just glided off the round thing from which you're supposed to make the tricky jump, I was just positioning myself for the jump, and down I went. I didn't even, why did, aargh.

0:20 is this a full map. To me it looks like you're missing something. I ask because I'm missing it too and it drives me nuts.

That is indeed the whole map. There can be a few extra sections on certain mesas that make it tricky to uncover, I believe it's at the Avesta mesa one. There's a Heroic Area to uncover.

I fell at the elevating platform and was upset, a few attempts later I got past that point and got the datacron.

In the end it took me longer to get the presence datacron than the endurance. Couldn't make the last pipe jump until I realized I had sprint turned off... then it too me some times to make the other jumps. What I wonder is how does one discover a path like for the endurance datacron. I found quite a few back in the days when the game launched.

@@IllevaSWTOR this char did all dadacrons to this point i had half or les then half if u count all to this point, imp taris has still 1 missing sins playing rep char in past i just did datacorns what caught my eye didn't search for them, care less of matrix shards and more of stats, and so did datacors awry time i finished story on planed before DLC both class and planet story, prefer to search for this when i am done with the planet, DLC dadaconds give +10 each stats before all gave +4
