I tried to meditate with the monk. Rested as close as I could. Just sat in cinematic mode. I eventually heard the cha-ching sound, like when you open a treasure. I didn't see a notification of any kind but I was in cinematic mode so, not sure if that makes a difference.

This NPC really has me intrigued. I wondered what would happen if I tried to take the monk back to Beecher's Hope. When I got there I had a prompt saying I couldn't bring prisoners into camp. Since I hadn't been home in a while I got stuck with an unskippable cut scene with Uncle wanting some moonshine from Blackwater or something like that. While that was happening the monk escaped from my horse and ran away. After the cut scene I rode around looking for him but he was gone. I then 'teleported' (using a trainer on PC) back to the mountains to look for the monk again and noticed he was walking on a loop back and forth but not returning to his rock. And then I noticed ANOTHER MONK in his spot! So I fired my pistol to scare them both and they both took off in roughly the same direction. I 'teleported' back to Annesberg in the hope of seeing them both arrive at the Sheriff both they never arrived. Going to see if I can reproduce a double monk spawn and follow them properly this time.

I found a glitch where when you finish the mission destroying the Braithwaites whiskey still you challenge Dutch to race back to camp but don't go back to camp. Instead you can go where you want to on the map & kill who you want with little to no popo interference. Not sure if anyone has made a video on that or not.
