Was never told high protein diet before my nephrectomy five years ago. I was told to not have too much protein ( around six ounces a day) after my op.

Good info. Diagnosed and had part of right kidney removed. Stage 3 renal cell cancer. This was Oct 2023. Doing imunnotherapy now

Correct me if I am wrong, but for Stage 3 they usually do a radical Nephrectomy, why PN?

I’m bipolar and I’ve been taking lithium for 40 years. My kidneys are impaired and I have just had cancer removed from my kidney. Difficult to find much information on the internet about lithium damage and kidney damage. Can anyone enlighten me?
