Thanks for the memories! In the 1950s I used to catch the green London Transport 370, which ran from Romford 'Green Line' bus garage on London Road, to Tilbury Ferry, both of which are gone.

London Buses should be free of charge, only costs about £1 billion or so a year to operate. Instead you have thousands of cyclists and walkers tramping across the city trying to reach it to their workplace because they can't afford the fare. Just insane.
