I would have to say Liam's room is my favorite so far. Love the accent wall with the wood ledge look. My daughter loves Pokémon and Roblox. She also animates and is a gamer so alot of the things you put in his room are giving me ideas for her room.

I am totally in love with this makeover. I love how you found a new way to express his love of games. The difference in his old room and his new room is night and day. I kept wondering how you were going to top the old house boys rooms but I tell you you come thru every time. Best part is seeing how much he loves and appreciates everything you guys did for him. Love themed children’s rooms that show cases their interests. That shelf above the bed is awesome. I can’t figure out how the cubed light works. It’s amazing. Years ago when I was little we were on holiday and there was a shop that had a window full of lava lamps light up at night . We had never seen one before . It was mesmerising.

I loved the Nancy Drew adventures too . I am so impressed with focal wall for the bed. At first glance, it appears to be a extra-large headboard. We need to do an upgrade to our spare bedroom, and I will need to keep this idea in mind for it. Thanks for sharing your son's bedroom makovers!

Love Liam’s room! Will be alot better for your son; easier to do the bed for him. One thing missing is a reading lamp over his bed so he can read his books before bed; he sounds like a big reader so this would help him. Maybe just a clip on or a sconce? And yes, I prefer Liam’s room cause of all the neat things but they are both real nice.

I agree about the navy color growing with them. We painted a navy accent wall in my youngest nursery but then a few months back my boys swapped rooms and we kept the navy accent wall and it worked in our oldest decor also. I love their rooms! Great job guys, y’all never fail to amaze me

I’m curious if you recommend spray painting faucets and door handles instead of purchasing new ones? Does the paint hold up to moisture and regular touching and wiping down?

It depends on the budget you have available and also how heavily used the item being spray painted is. With spray paint, you may have to touch it up occasionally if it’s used constantly… but should do pretty well if you use a high quality paint and primer spray paint like I used in this video :)

I love watching you and your husband do makeovers on your house and your families homes. I love to paint and I have redone furniture with cabinet/furniture paint and just finish my granddaughter‘s dresser and nightstand but had trouble finding handles for it so I typed in adjustable handles for Furniture. So I picked the ones from Lowe’s which are special order. Just read the instructions when installing on furniture. I like them because they’re adjustable and I don’t have to re-drill. Plus I bought the Square knobs too. So if you need new handles for your new project they do have adjustable handles for older furniture.
