Kids disaster room! Decluttering and organizing tips for a child with ADHD

My daughter has ADHD, which means organization is a constant struggle for her. I’ve tried many different organizing methods with her, and I’m slowly figuring out the best way to meet her needs. Come along as we declutter and organize her bedroom! She has way too much stuff and we are working on decluttering her things.

Hi I really enjoy the places that are really in need of cleaning but I love it on there long videos so if you ever decide to do long ones I would probably follow a lot closer cuz I need long ones right now because kind of going through the same thing with a lot of clothes and stuff so and I just came across your video so I just thought I'd mention that that's all!!

Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil

You are absolutely right, kids need to keep their favorite things! The problem is when kids become overwhelmed with having too many things in their spaces. If a child has clutter of toys that they don’t even like or play with, it can cause anxiety for them as well. It is important to create balance for them and work to their needs 🙂
