Great Job Becky, what an awesome room for home schooling. So smart to separate the playroom from the home school room. Giving each room a purpose and title encourages both learning and play. It’s nice to hear that the children are enjoying all the spaces in the new house. Yes it does take time to organize your new home, just take your time and don’t overwhelm yourself with a set time line. As long as you have the basic things together ENJOY your beautiful new home. In your unfinished basement, that would be the perfect space for riding outdoor bikes or scooters during the Winter. Basement playrooms are the way to go! You can close the door and not worry about the mess being in the main living area

Can't wait to see more of the new house! This is an exhausting time, I always dread it. We are a military family and move frequently. You are spot on with the 1 year to get everything settled! That is always how long it takes me to get everything where it will stay and start organizing better from there. Try to hang onto the excitement of being in your forever home to help you on those days where you are sick of looking at boxes. Don't know how you do it all 💕

Every single time we have ever moved into a new home it has always taken me three years to finally feel like everything has a home and is organized. Then once everything has a spot and we can settle into the home finally, we move. 😂😂 Thankfully we are in year 4 at our current home and this is the year we are settling in finally and it’s nice to know we aren’t moving anytime soon. 😅

Hi Becky, Happy New Year's to you and your beautiful family. As I'm watching you unpack I would like to ask you (even though you may be used to) every pregnancy is different but if at all possible you ask your husband to put on the floor boxes that are a bit heavy. At this point in your pregnancy, you don't want to take any chances. Also, as you get closer to March, you may consider hiring extra help. Meaning, people could unpack and put things where you want them to. I tell you this because between homeschooling and the baby, you might not have any time to unpack and organize as you would like to. I'm telling you this because even though you may be patient with yourself, having a long to-do list over your head is not something you want to look forward to. Remember, we are human and need rest as well. Believe me when I tell you. Rest will be a luxury if you don't get a chance to have it.
