There was so much potential for somebody to be an arse in this video, and yet nobody was! Much credit to the officers for being sensible about it, front reg plates (though a legal requirement) do spoil the look of a car, especially a Lambo, we all know why there wasn't one fitted, yet they resisted any temptation to make life difficult. Of course, you guys deserve credit too, always polite and answering questions, and even engaging and being honest when onlookers started conversation. Those arent police officers .. they were (civilian) police community support But certainly correct to be dealing with it ... 100% legit to check out a car with a missing plate and the officer and driver were mutually courteous ( if a tad condescending about the security advice ) At present in NZ we have something of an issue with people stealing plates from stationary vehicles and a community scheme to fit tamperproof fasteners Nice vid, thanks for sharing ... if only all Police / Public interactions were like this :-)

Lamborghinis are rarely stolen in the UK, Thieves want cars they can make money on and unfortunately if you can afford a Lamborghini the last thing your going to do as a owner is buy stolen used parts to put on your own car when you can just send it to the dealers, there also not great to get away from police in a chase round the streets as there pretty much screwed when they come to a speed humps and you also stick out like a sore thumb so not exactly a car you could leave in a side street until the heat dies down. They find an unlocked door sneak in and if they find em they take it. If it's in a safe that ain't happening. For the gazillionth time, they're not cops, they're community support officers. However, on the politeness thing, yeah, most UK cops are okay. Yes there's one or two jobsworths about but on the whole, they're okay. Treat them with respect, be polite, co-operate and 99% of the time they'll be fine with you. If you're a dick, then what do you expect? I see so many videos where something has escalated and in many cases it could've been avoided by simply co-operating and being polite. Respect is a two way thing.
