If you're using Apple's Keynote to make slides, you can edit images under the 'images' tab, and click on 'adjustments'. You can then lower the 'saturation' slider, and it'll make any image black and white.

Hi Abe, thanks for watching and welcome to the Mooncake community! It really depends on the software you use to teach. If using Zoom for example, I would use a PPT presentation and switch my screen. However I know that ClassIn, for example, has more options and flexibility to move screens around. The most important thing is to be confident with the software you're using and be able to switch screens comfortably without too much interruption. I hope that helps 😊

However, if you have pictures to match the vocabulary you want to teach, you can also create some simple flashcards using powerpoint. In fact, even if designing your own cards, you can do a lot using the shapes tool in powerpoint. I hope that helps! 😊

ok so maybe I am the only here but for me really not everything is clear, for the first game for example I start saying '' I wen to market and bought some bananas'' and I pass it on to a student, he will choose another fruit or vegetable but will they choose any fruit? why do we show flashcards then? won't they say '' do I have to choose from your flash cards teacher? '' and then what does the other student say '' I went to the market and bought some bananas and an apple'' and it goes on like this ? for the second one I don't even have a clue honestly so I choose 3 cards and they come one by one and I start talking about the first one then show the second one, will a student talk about the second and third one in the same structure in your case '' I like to eat... '' then finds the one who doesn'T belong in the group? Because in the video if the upper you is the teacher you look really confused I thought that one was the student so I didn't get it, any help is appreciated thank you.

Hi Ahmad, sorry I haven't been able to get back to you sooner. I get a lot of messages across platforms and I do my best to respond to all of them but sometimes I miss a few. Unfortunately, China has closed its borders to foreigners, so it's not currently possible for those abroad to come and start work here. I imagine there will be plenty of jobs available once the border does open, however. You might want to try a few recruitment agencies such as GoldStar recruitment. The most important thing is to make sure that the company offering you work is able to provide you with a legal working visa. I hope that helps!
