Let's hope that more Priests and Bishops will take inspiration from Bishop Barron and have various programmes for them since they are life of tomorrow's Church. Jesus' own example could be followed for certainly achieving great goals for the Church.

Absolutely incredible. Often in my day, I see children being ignored and rejected by adults, for anything from minor snarkiness to genuine issues. It is good to see children receive respect and enlightenment, unlike the bullying and impatience that many people, from teenagers to parents, inflict on children. While I'm not the most attentive religious man, I realize fully the impact and even necessity of religion in modern society. For without it, people loose their ability to be grounded, and to balance their lives properly. And I cannot understate my admiration for you, Your Excellency. You are one of the most intelligent, serious, understanding, nuanced, and incredible intellectuals I have ever seen, which, in a world where religion (for various reasons, good or ill) is scapegoated and crucified for its mere striving for self-improvement.

This reminds me of summer camp. At the summer camp that I went to, we had daily Mass. The priest, instead of giving a homily, he would give us the opportunity to ask questions. It was a huge part in me going to the seminary. Prayers from Edmonton, Canada!

I think Bishop Barron strikes a great chord with Children. And the Children seem to be drawn to him as well. Their questions and the answers help understand some great truths of our Faith, as Catholics.

You truly impressed my Children in Religious Education, I was blown away when I watched Questions and Answers for Children. I decided immediately to share with them, it opened up their beautiful minds to ask questions of their own. You have always been an inspiration to me ever since your Catholism Series. You are on my tablet everyday for inspiration for me. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND SERVICE TO GOD. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.

Aww what a great episode! I absolutely love Bishop Barron's reaction and response to these kids. He clearly delights in their innocence and questions, yet addresses their questions with intelligence and respect in a non-patronizing way.

I loved that last answer to parents! Thanks, Bishop Barron! I'm a stay-at-home mom and I've always felt guilty that my focus has been on the kids. When I was single I could do more for others. But you put my mind at rest and gave me some good ideas for what we can do as a family! Thanks again!! And thanks Brandon!

After 46 years in the priesthood, I have no Catholic school and no CCD. It's what I miss most. Some of my favorite questions: 1. A 3rd grade boy in a central city Catholic school asked, "Why do we say that Jesus is consubstantial with the Father?" 2. An 8th-grade CCD student asked, "Is it easy to stay Catholic when you go away to college?" 3. A sixth-grade boy asked, "If Pharaoh's daughter named the baby Moses, is "Moses" a Hebrew or Egyptian name?" (Had to e-mail my Old Testament prof for the answer to that one.") The follow-up question was, "Well, if it's an Egyptian name, what did his mother call him?" I said, "Kevin." 4. A kindergarten girl asked, "Why do we always say 'in Christ'? Like, why do we pray for the people who died 'in Christ?'"

Enjoyable show. Thank you. Those rays coming out of the clouds are beautiful. When I was a child I was told that those cloud formations mean that God is calling us. So I imagined them to be God's arms.

Okay so you answered the first question by saying that in heaven we will be so close to God that we will not want to sin, but wasn't the devil an angel a powerful angel close to God? So what would be the difference?
@tryhardf8445 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Lucifer was Gods primordial pleasure of beauty and inteligence. But along the way,Lucifer rebelled against God. Unlike his three enemies. Gabriel,Arcangel and Rafael.
