To know there is a place where a kid can just happily dance without fear being called nasty things is something i never woulda imagined. Not be dramatic but as a kid there were so many moments i was too fearful to be myself and just enjoy all the wonderful things that comes with being a child. Bless those people and i wish that kid none of the hardships many of us older gays went through like having to rediscover ourselves after trying to "straighten" ourselves out for society.

People are not gonna like when things like this are brought up, but I have such faith in white kids like these. They are embracing the culture of the black and Latino community of NYC and ballroom. They don’t seem appropriative, like back in the day when Madonna’s Vogue came out. This is effort. This is respect. I feel like they will become aware of the surrounding issues around them for these communities and do something about it. And yes, it seems silly to gather all that from a video, but I have seen small moments like these lead to big things.
