Trains at Birmingham Moor Street, CML - 9/3/19

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Birmingham Moor Street on the Chiltern Main Line where services are seen by West Midlands Railway (brand of TOC West Midlands Trains) and Chiltern Railways.
A very classical station in terms of design, Birmingham Moor Street was a fantastic station to film with so many trains popping in and out of the tunnel towards Snow Hill and then the bay platforms for Chiltern Railways saw a few bits on them too. The layout of the station is just magnificent and it's all because of the design of the station, definitely the most unique in the country. The views overall were nice with a brilliant bit of central Birmingham standing out as a backdrop to the station but also a great view outwards towards Solihull as you can see trains from quite far out. A highly recommended station for sure!

Question: Doesn't one go via Whitlocks End and one goes via Dorridge? Great video btw I have played Snow Hill Lines on roblox and it is a lovely station and looks great IRL to, I am currently binging the Big Trip playlist.

late to the party but yes, WMT operate half hourly services to Stratford-Upon-Avon with one via dorrige and one via whitlocks end

First route is via Whitlocks End, branching off at Tyseley. Second route goes via Dorridge and there's a fork off to right, with the CML continuing to the left, not long after Dorridge which joins up with the route from Whitlocks End
