There are still plenty of arcades in operation. Some of them have gone through some management changes, Sega for example selling off their arcades, but there are also still a lot of smaller arcades like this one in operation. I'm planning to cover a lot more of them in 2024. Thanks for subbing!

It's a great arcade, and very welcoming to newcomers. A lot of regulars, and multiple themed nights throughout the week including STGs and Capcom Vs SNK 2 tourneys.

first off definitely digging the AKIRA t-shirt! wow I didn't realize how long the owner's been at it I'm sure I've seen clips on twitter about him and his arcade as far as the street fighter tournaments stuff goes. kinda blown away by all the extra perks though, wow this guy really goes the extra mile for his fans!! sounds like it's for the most part shmups and fighting games? but I ain't complaining I do love me some street fighter.

Yeah, mostly for shmup and fighting game enthusiasts, but there were also A LOT of Gundam Extreme players, and there's a slot machine/pachinko corner which I neglected to film.

Yes. As they explained it to me, he worked for Namco in the 70's and left to open his own arcade during the Space Invaders boom.

Don't watch or follow wrestling at all, but occasionally accompany friends to live events. I liked wrestling in the late 90's, and ECW was definitely the coolest.
