There is no soon with this disease unfortunately. And the only way to not get worse is to not do anything. Physical activity actively makes you more sick. I hope he does reach a point where he can do things again. But there is no way to physically make yourself better.

I'm sorry to hear about your long covid Sean. As a fellow sufferer who is getting better my important advice is that you will probably start to feel better in stages. Suddenly you will feel much better. DON'T PUSH TOO HARD. You will be better than before but not as much better as you will be. Pushing too hard will just make you feel tired again. So stayed laid back and get better in your own time.

For future reference, should you ever need large pencil lead again. Go to a welding supply store and get a carbon block. They come in various sizes and are used for backing a weld for full penetration without warping thin stock.

I sympathise with you Shawn. I'm not sure how lucky or unlucky I was when I first caught Covid, but I still feel drained of energy and joint achy on bad days. Next time you work with wood, after it is glued together fill the seams with a little glue and then sand the seam while the glue is still wet. The sawdust and glue mix together to make a filler. It will leave you with no visible seams after painting.

Hi Shawn, sorry to hear you're still dealing with Long Covid. My brother has been dealing with the same. He's been doing weekly hyperbaric chamber oxygen therapy for a while and has found it very helpful in his recovery. Apparently it's not a very well known treatment yet, so I recommend seeing if it's an option for you if you don't already do this. I hope your recovery goes well.
