I saw that in an interview, he did want to do it for years. I was so shocked when I discovered last July 2016 that he had an album coming out. I researched all the recent interviews I could find. His vocals are amazing... Watching 24 years back I would think, stop whispering Jack.. By golly it works, he sounds wonderful. I could listen to him singing all night. In fact I have. I love the entire album. I hope he makes another one.

To everyone that is posting negative comments. This man battled his addiction to alcohol and even made a song about it. Today is my 10 year soberity from prescription pain medications. I think this is therapy for him in a way. His wife departed from this world from an illness. I have always respected this man because he's humble and grateful for all he has. Even though he lost a big chunk of his life. I think this is a way of coping with his past demons. Now this is just coming from an Addiction Therapist with 8 years experience that currently holds 3 licenses to practice in the state of Ohio. Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependance Counselor Level II. Just my thoughts, keep rocking on Mr. Sutherland. I'm sure your story impacts 1000's and what an awesome way to share your story. I get to share mine everyday with my patients and watch them grow and become upstanding citizen in their community once again.
