It's decent, I've always enjoyed a ride out there. Natural forest trails. Thanks mate 👍

i`ve only ridden here once and it was a few years ago. i only recognise 2 sections, into the valley and twist and shout. t & s was definitely through the trees from top to bottom when i rode it so i`m guessing the forestry commission have been proper busy here as they have been been in a lot of other places.

Been a few times now and always enjoy it. We missed a few black sections this time round as they were closed for maintenance. The Lonesome Pine red route is also worth a look, but best avoided in the wet as its got loads of north shore that turns into a Bob sled course after rain 😆

How long does it take to climb to the first trail? I’m going tomorrow with my Son 👌🏻
@RockGullyMTB2 жыл бұрын
Not long. The first bits of descending start pretty early on. As far as trail centres go, there's not too much climbing on this one 👍

@@RockGullyMTB I went all the way up to Deadwater and thought it was hard on my legs although I did a big climb over the moors near derwent reservoir a few days before which probably didn’t help. I enjoyed it.Only thing I didn’t like was Jimmy’s hill.Just couldn’t get any traction on the back wheel over those rocks which was frustrating maybe a full suss would be better as I only have a hardtail at the minute.

Nice one mate. You should also try Newcastleton if you haven't already 👍

@@RockGullyMTB I’ll stick it on the list.Hopefully going to get to Glentress this week if my lad can sort a new full face helmet out. Also do you put any of your rides on Komoot? Or if not are they mapped out anywhere else? I’d like to do some more.
