Oh i remember this mod! I got it cause I was bored and wanted to spice up modded Minecraft mod. I will say for me the books helped me out so much when I couldn't figure out how to kill the bosses, but they were never in order so it took me a bit to figure out which book was for which boss. And if I'm remembering correctly the sun boss is a pain to even kill...
