I’m not a preachers kid but I agree with what keke said about preachers kid!!!! I believe the ones who are sometimes EXTREMELY sheltered can sometimes go out and go crazy.

Thats not true discern. Those whose spirit want to do those things partake in those evils. The patents job is to shelter them. If u have a spirit of fornicate, u will seek to do so when no one is looking.

Ok now I said that because I knew some people who went threw it! Now they weren’t preachers kids but they still had sheltered life. 🤷🏽‍♀️ So in other words I’m talking about parents, or guardian who don’t have a balance when it comes to protecting their children. You have to have a balance!! Some parents in the church do it so much so to the point that it’s almost like they’re saying they don’t trust anything they taught their children. Think about this, the bible says train up way child in the way they should go and he will not depart from me... if a parents trust that what they have taught their child was affective then they shouldn’t treat them like inmates . I mean honestly!!! yes you’re suppose to watch and protect your child spiritually and naturally and pray for them. But the thing is if you pray for them and keep them covered they will be fine. 💁🏽‍♀️My point is your raising them Gods way you should trust what the lord has lead you to put in your child. Now that does not mean they won’t grow up and choose their own way, but I believe what you taught them will always be in the back of their mind. Now I’m not saying allow them to go out and do whatever they want to do but I’m saying BALANCE is one of the keys in this type of situation.

If they taught and stood for holiness, they did the right thing. If they lived and instructed her as the word days, then they did no wrong. As followers of Christ, the way we live our lives is foolishness, unbalanced, and too strict according to the world. Good day.

gospelevans my point is you have to have BALANCE!! Everyone should have a balance because even if you do teach a child right from wrong they still grow up and make their own choices. Yes teaching your child holiness is right and teaching them how to be righteous is right because the Bible said so. My point is being overbearing and overprotective is not apart of that. Trust me if they end up a terrible situation if you’ve taught them well, they know the only one who can help them truly is Jesus. Like I said before: if you trust what you teach your children you wouldn’t have to shelter them so much! Now do what God leads you as a parent but don’t make them feel like prisoner....an inmate🙍🏽‍♀️ Anyway balance is key! 👍🏼

I wonder when will these children will not follow wrong.I always have my daughter travel and see different things be with her father people and my people. She got to know both sides of my family and her father family side, both in church she went to her father family church and her own church. Baptist teaches the of gospel Jesus Christ I went as a little girl. I taught my daughter to pay tithies and we have sponor children in different countries and cities.
