I dont know why but bmw has changed the emblems reference and the cable is too short. I read you have to change the connector from the old one somehow 🤷‍♂️

My F83 went out of warranty in June and the dealer told me (yesterday) it would be, wait for it, $840 to replace the two emblems. What?!?!

For me, BMW didn’t replace them for the new ones, they swapped them out with the same ones.

Years ago BMW replaced ours with that the same silver ones under warranty. I asked if I could get the updated ones but BMW would not approve it. The only option the dealer could offer me was to pay for the black ones myself and they would cover the cost of labor 😓

Nick My dealer said he would not replace with the black ones, but only with the original clear ones. (On M4 under warranty btw)
