Shouldn’t spawn every night, I suggest maybe on the nights it doesn’t spawn you may or may not hear him in the far distance, and if you CHOOSE to go in the direction of the sound, he’ll spawn far away from you in that direction if you travel far enough in that direction. This would be on nights he doesn’t just straight up spawn near you like usual. Great work team 👍

*UPDATE REPORT* Siren head might get stuck on trees causing him to stomp infinitely if you have dynamic trees Siren head gets stuck at holes causing him to not be able to get you when he could walk around He doesn’t play as much sounds as I thought he would but that’s because I have sounds remastered and ambient sounds 5 That’s the end, very good mod and probably the scariest mod in all of Minecraft

We are aware of both issues and are trying to improve them (not sure about dynamic trees, since thats another mod, things might be a bit broken and we cant do much about that). And about the sounds, we dont want him to be spamming sounds all the time because it would get annoying (also the mod doesnt work with sound physics, so having any mod that alters audio right now may cause it to not work properly)

It would be nice if he could destroy CERTAIN blocks. Instead of any block, it'd be nice if it were the "softer" blocks for a little "realism" and to prevent it from destroying everything. Dirt, sand, gravel, and any kind of wood, sandstone and glass. The harder kind of blocks (regular stone, cobblestone, bricks and such) would remain untouched or take a longer time to break.

Ive played with the mod a ton and I have to say well done however there are a few things that I think could be tweaked or ironed out. The first thing Is im not gonna lie it kinda feels like a big dweller that just spawns and stands around waiting to chase. Another thing that kills suspense is when it spawns in he kinda just stands there where u can see him and only chases when the player gets close also from my testing and playing it spawns every night which kind of kills suspense and unpredictability cause u kind of know when he will spawn. I feel like there needs to be some rising tension or unpredictability. A few ideas I have are maybe random footprints spawn or tree claw marks. maybe even random corpses of animals just slight changes to the world and rather than standing or walking around, make his presence unknown or random like he may stand there and not make any sound, he may walk and not make footsteps or play sound, or he may chase immediately after spawning in. DONT make him spawn every night because it makes you feel that you know whats coming and can prepare like going in a cave and hiding or sleeping. I think the chase length should be longer too cause if feels like you can just outrun him for 30 seconds and he sinks into the ground. Those are just a few things if seen while playing and im sure I will find new stuff to add but for now these are just some ideas for the mod. btw i put this in discord too :D

Im one of the people working on the mod yes, but most of the development of the mod is done by the actual mod devs (the ppl that made Dangers in the Darkness), i just basically plan out the mod and they create what i suggest.

I have one comment about the mod: maybe make his sirens on his head a bit thinner and smaller as they look kinda blocky rn and make his body turn slower so it looks more natural. Other than that tho its a very good mod!! :)

Try making it out of various stone blocks, I think the devs mentioned him breaking only blocks like dirt, sand, gravel, wood and so on. But im not 100% sure on that
