Seeing Anna Diop as Koriand’r has been a joy over the years. The way she embodies her essence, her temperament, her wittiness, she was spectacular. Not only that but she also reintroduced a more serious, no-nonsense side of kory from the 80s comics that lots of people aren’t too familiar with due to the animated series, I’d love if James Gunn kept her as Starfire for the new DCEU but just gave her a different look and origin to differentiate her from the titans universe. I will truly miss her.

When Anna Diop was cast as Starfire I was SO AGAINST IT, I thought the race-swapping thing was so unnecessary... granted, she was orange/gold in the comics, who has orange skin to play the role right? ... but I always pictured her as a redhead, she was never portrayed to have black features, I was very disappointed with the inaccuracy. NOW I am so disappointed Anna Diop won't play her in the DCU, she did a FANTASTIC job with this character, such a badass, my favorite character in Titans, I love her! And I DEMAND Tamaraneans to all be black moving forward, it makes so much sense now the way they portray their planet being, and their solar/ultraviolet metabolization, they of course have dark skin to absorb sunlight just like Superman's black suit helped him recover faster absorbing more solar power. Tamaraneans are DC's Wakandans from space basically, it's such a cool concept PLEASE have it be this way in the DCU moving forward! This is Anna Diop's legacy for the character!

Dude she was oranged bc she's a alien, plus starfire has curly hair in the original comics which fits the black woman features + blackfire was also darkskin in the comics too so having black females ( black people in general ) play as tamareans fits the aesthetic. + every race has different reputation in the show and I think it was a fabulous idea.
