I still don't understand what she had to do with Trigon and Brother Blood. If they were relatives relatives Raven, the latter had to take care of it, right? If we wanted an archenemy for Starfire, they had to let Blackfire stay evil. I err, guys?

What Kory has to do with it was that he was gonna attack and destroy her planet and take control of her planet and earth. And at that time Kory was queen of tamaran and she came to earth to stop trigon. The brother blood situation was also the same cause brother blood said it himself that he would rule and take over tamaran and earth and other planets and as queen and former queen of tamaran Kory was sent to kill them.

because in the original Titans comics from the 80s, the Tamaraneans, although they are orange, had traits of black people.

They didn't have the budget for her to be orange all the time so they got a black women as the character is based off a black woman
