I'd recommend 'Ay-Yo' and/or '2 Baddies' for your next 127 vid... Ay-Yo is my favorite for how dark and epic it sounds, but the rap flow in 2 Baddies is masterful. (fyi, 127 is pronounced one-two-seven, as opposed to one twenty-seven 😉🙃) As I'm sure others have or will mention, 127 is a part of a much larger group. It seems hella complicated, but it's really not that bad. Just think of it as 4 groups *(127, Dream, WayV and Wish)* operating under the same umbrella *(NCT),* that occasionally *Unite* together for an album *(NCT U).* On these special albums, they will mix-n-match the members for each song. (We've only had 4 of these full-group albums in 8 years.) NCT is a multinational pop group based in Seoul, Korea, with 26 members from: Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan/Germany, Canada, and the US. They are known for their unique grouping formation system and being all around aces in music and dance. As well for their experimental sound and concepts. In addition they are popular for their funny brotherly vibes since they're such a large group and many of the members having known one another for a long time -this includes some members who even went to school together and meeting as performers before the groups formation. There are leaders of each unit, but the overall leader of all 26 members is Taeyong (TayYong). He was not in this video as he is currently in the Korean Navy completing his mandatory military service. He is currently serving as a platoon leader in the navy band. He's beloved by his members and the kpop industry as a whole. There are 6 unique NCT groups: NCT U (collabs between members from other units), NCT 127(127 is the longitude of Seoul), NCT Dream (formerly a teen focused group but all the members are grown but still perform together), WayV (Chinese Unit), NCT Wish (Japanese Unit), and DoJaeJung (R&B focused unit). I enjoyed seeing you groove to NCT127 but it looked like you missed the high notes right at the part where Taeil and Mark are walking on water. I am a former judge of dance competition performance groups and my preferred style of music is hip hop/gangsta rap. 127 is it. Their singing, rapping and technical difficulty performances are just my style. They are considered "hard" KPOP. West Coast, Latin ("Regular" in English), AfroBeat (Fact Check), they attempt to bring different styles. They've been out 8 yrs. When you taste more of them, you are going to regret the time lost. There are 9 but their leader, Taeyong is in the military. Johnny is American, Mark is Canadian, Yuta is Japanese. The rest are Korean. There are a total of 26 members in all in NCT with groups made from the 26. I would love to see you appreciate them more. I will be looking out for you.
