1:09 the line “i’m always chill it’s my job” actually has another double meaning. the number 127 in korean is said as “ilichil” and that’s what fans often use to refer to them, calling them “our/my ilichil”. in korean, the word for work is “il” and when he (that’s mark rapping btw) says “my work is chill” in korean that translates to “nae (means my) ili chill” = same pronunciation as “my ilichil”. i just keep thinking how cool that line was to insert a fan insider so i had to bring it up

it's crazy to compare xg to nct 127 bcs xg ain't kpop. NCT 127 is known as one of the best kpop groups, they've been releasing bangers since 2016. Yeh they might not be as known as bts and blackpink around the world, but they're one of the most respected kpop artists and are HUGE in korea. There are a lot of references in this song that only fans will catch.
