@@RandallJennings - Yes, radio is now computerized too. It's all there (usually between two monitors) and everything you hear is just a click away. Maybe turning the mic on is still controlled by a board?? Back in my day ... everything was hands on and manually operated. There were cart machines to play music and commercials and we would push buttons manually to do all that and running "A Tight Board" ment pushing all the right buttons at the right times to avoid "Dead Air" (silence ... even for a half second. and you had only a songs length (around 3:15) to grab your next music carts, all the commercial carts you will need next, maybe do an output meter reading and even go to the bathroom! lol ... I used to fly by the seat of my pants for 6 hours, 6 days a week.

I remember him when he worked at wild One 07. There was one particular night that he locked himself in the studio until the next day.
