OMG Professor was best friend to my cousin Ngugi wa Mirii who unfortunately passed away through a fatal accident in Harare Zimbabwe where he was also in exile. I met Professor personally in Kamirithu when I was a little girl when my cousin took me to watch the play Ngahika ndenda.
