I was also nervous about the paci! We did the build a bear method, we talked about it a lot leading up to it and we read a book about giving up the paci, then we had a special day where we went to build a bear and he picked out his favorite stuffy and put the paci inside of it, then we had some special gifts when he got home, new pjs, a pillow etc and he was totally fine! ❤

Cold turkey getting rid of binkys worked for us! For potty, put her on every night just before bath when she’s already nakey. No pressure, just if she goes she goes then put her in the bath. 2.5 is the sweet spot. Wait until she understands and can verbally tell you when she needs to go, etc. 🫶🏼 Also, all the way down on the hat for sure! I think a low pony/messy bun is also cute with it!

I always wear my hats fully down. Just making sure I have hair framing the face. And you can literally wear any casual outfit with a white hat. Its so versatile ❤️

I’m shocked that I just realized Rocky’s hair has turned brunette! Also potty training my girl went sooo smoothly! I read the “oh crap potty training” book & followed that method! Lowkey scared to start with my boy though 😂

Wear the hat down, weird if its just resting on the top of your head. I also find that I like it if one side of my hair is out and the other is tucked behind my ear. Also would try a standard baseball shaped hat so that it doesn't have the point at the top.

I am by no means an expert but for my son we started weaning him from the binky before two. At first we only let him have it at comfort times and naps and sleeping at night then eventually just at naps and night then only at night and then he slowly forgot about them. He is now 2.5. The way we used this was I would say if he was ready to get up and play he had to give me his binky. Also it helped to encourage him to stay in nap because he wanted his binky. It took time but it has seemed to work and not affect his sleep. Love you Kilean ! 💗💗🥰

My girly was so easy. I let her choose when she was ready. We had the potty next to the bath and made it routine for her to at least sit on it before she went in the bath. She decided she was done with diapers one day and we went with it. She ran away from us when we tried to put a diaper on lol. Same thing with the pull ups over night. We followed her lead 🥰

You should buzz Rocky’s hair. It’s just so freeing to not see your mess ups and keep trying to fix it and mess with it, advice from experience. My son would say “mama no hair!” Every time I try to push his hair around when he’s playing.. now it’s just growing out :) Also with your new hat.. you don’t always have to just follow what everyone else is doing. Get a baseball cap or something you’re comfortable in. Dress the way you want to and what you feel good in, not what everyone else is doing. It’s also so freeing to not care and just be yourself 🤍

I cut pacis cold turkey with both my kiddos around 17 months, it sucked for an about a week and a half then they were fine! I potty trained my little girl at 2.5 and it was so easy, I think it’s a mental game and she was ready and picked it up really easy. My little boy is approaching 2.5 soon so I will try the same 😬 Wish me luck, those second kiddos have a mind of their own!! On books, Redeeming Love is by far the best book I have ever read! ♥️ Love your channel so much!! 🫶🏼

We have 2 girls. We got rid of the pacifier at 2 cold turkey. We cut it, so she said it was broken. I told her if it’s broken she should throw it away & had her toss it herself in the trash & and then dad immediately took the bag out on garbage day so she saw it left the house. We had a few days where she went back looking for it by the trash but we just reminded her that we had to throw it away because it was broken. We waited to potty train her at 2.5 & it was perfect. We did the 3 days naked & 3 days of underwear & then resumed regular clothing. It worked well. Still pull ups at night because she’s only 3, but good during the day 👍🏻

I was so scared to take away paci and kept procrastinating well one day for nap I didn’t offer and he didn’t ask. He fell asleep and slept like normal so I decided ok no going back and cut the paci in case he asked for bedtime and we could go the oh no it’s broken route. Well guess what he never asked and slept fine. All this time I thought it would be so hard to take away but he apparently wasn’t attached lol.

i probably have the un popular advice. our kids are the exact same age to the day. my oldest i didn't potty train at all, i let her do it herself and she was PT by 3. i did absolutely nothing. they get old enough and it clicks in their brains, there's no training needed. a mom of 8 gave me that advice and it was the best! she still doesn't poop on the potty but i'm not worried about it. it will come!

If you happen to figure out binky weaning tips I would love to hear them. My first had no issues with the binky weaning! Once he lost them all, we just told him they were gone and he had no issues. So I expected it to go the exact same way with my second and he’s slept like crap for months 😵‍💫 so I feel ya! And for potty training, HIGHLY recommend the Oh Crap! Book! I didn’t end up potty training my first until he was almost 3, because I was morning sick with my 3rd baby right when I really wanted to. 🫠😵‍💫 lol but it was such a smooth process with him! For books: If you like thrillers, Verity is the BEST Colleen Hoover book! It’s disturbing but so good 🤪 If you like any fantasy, ACOTAR series is soo good! Also love anything by Kristin Hannah and Taylor Jenkins Reid!

My son was a weirdo and somehow did better with poop than with pee initially so I didn’t end up needing that chapter as much 🤪 but I bet it had some SUPER great tips! 🤩 🫶🏻🫶🏻
