santiago gutierrez While I'm not 100% sure, I would assume it's rat tail. Very few United replicas are full tail, one such was Strider's sword.

The only downside of this sword I found was that it was so heavy. Its more like a hammer then a sword.

BlueFlame17 It is quite heavy indeed. Seems like the more stout build of dwarves is more conducive to wielding a weapon like this! :)
