The most accurate review of Back To Black I’ve seen on KZbin. You are 100% right when you say it’s a predominantly honey fragrance. In fact I get honey and only honey in the opening. Only when it dries down does a tobacco note start to come through and only in the back ground. For me it smells better in the dry down than the opening.

It's a beautiful fragrance. I love the honey/tobacco blend, and the touch of raspberry sends me over the moon. It's definitely a wrist-smasher for sure!

Excellent review. Your descriptions match up with my experience with this. I was expecting a much deeper scent from the name and also from others' reviews, so i was a little surprised at how light and powdery it was.

I own Naxos and sampled Back to Black today.On my skin,Back to Black was nothing else than a powdery sweet honey from the beginning ,appealing and sexy,but extremely sweet. Naxos opens with citrusy accords wrapped in beautiful lavender that last three,four,maybe five minutes and then the honey,tonka and vanilla shine through. I like Naxos better.
