I so want to do the climb but I am 66 and might not make it but will try. I have been to Africa 14 times and 1/3 of my ashes will be spread on top of Kilimanjaro even if I do not make it alive.

@leoliamll take it slowly. Climbing Kili is not a technical climb. It's about endurance. Take some paracetamol in case you get altitude sickness as it will help with the headaches. You will only need this in the last twelve hours or so. Take warm clothes. Also spend a few days at the Kilimanjaro Hotel first to start getting acclimatised to the altitude.

@sweetness00peace The price for climbing the mountain depends with the route you want to take to climb the mountain. There are about six routes to the summit and the price ranges from roughly 1200 US$ to 1600 US$. Some companies charge more and some less but you get what you pay for.

Tai WooDz I wonder about that all the time, when I smoke weed and even when I'm not smoking weed. It's more of a spiritual quest to me, weed is a trigger mechanism that ignite s the mind in different ways to grow your total perspective in Life. I think humans are amazing in design and have more evolution and conscious growth to endure for better days on Earth and beyond when we are no longer in physical form (to the Spirit World/ Realm). Relax. The act of climbing does little or no damage to the mountain. It takes FAR more than that to make a mountain suffer. What climbers shouldn't do though is leave trash and stuff behind. Now that's irresponsible.
