It's just poor decision making - frankly, he's just lucky he didn't end up with the spear. And that's completely excluding the numerous terrible range drop like knives, thrownaxes and darts.

You couldnt kill NPCs that drop nothing, so no raids, no fire cape, no barrows, and you could only kill monsters that were gonna drop you a new wearable! Also this is one of the reasons Im getting the quest cape (rargh and myself couldnt do demonics as i havnt done MM2)

Love the high end gear challenges. A similar one could be you have unlimited time to get whatever gear (from drops) you want but the faster your finish your setup the better your inventory is allowed to be. Something along the lines of if you finish within 1 hour you can pick any inventory want, within 2 hours you get something along the line of sharks, and so on with the caveat that if you forgo all your inventory slots you can buy whatever gear setup you want from the GE (as if you had spent the months grinding the perfect setup)

You guys should do "loot chest, then we fight" do activities that have chests such as borrows, crystal chest, raids, brimstone keys etc. ANY CHEST You can only get one wearable item per type of chest then you have to move on to another type of chest.

Here's an idea: You pick your gear from all the monster drop lists(no boss). But you can only pick 1 monster(no matter the level) per gear slot. The twist is, you then accumulate the total monster level you have, and the one with lower lvl gets shark for food, while the higher gets pizzas.(or some other semi crappy food) You can also include potions drops, but that obviously add to your total. So: do you just go for best possible gear and crap food, or you do do some sacrifice and go for the better food. 3 slots are reserved for runes(if no rune they are empty). Ammo is filled with 300 of 1 monster drop. It's not about killing, it's about planning properly and best. Also, which type of fighter you are?

Hey, I'm fairly new to the channel. Absolutely loving the content. Video idea; timed challenge where you have a set amount of time to kill mobs of any kind (maybe bosses) if you can kill it within the time frame then you can random roll on a piece of gear that it drops? I.e. have to kill any mob within 30 seconds to be able to roll on its table, you have 1 hour to gather up what you can. Can only kill same mob 2/3 times under the kill time for different rolls potentially. I hope you like the idea, just something I thought I'd share if you're ever after future content. This is one I want a repeat of at some point. With one quality of life change: You can bypass the kills for a guaranteed drop within reason. IE, you could just outright get the Brine Sabre rather than killing hundreds of Brine Rats. It doesn't actually change the challenge. Probably worth making some exceptions for excessively rare things you wouldn't realistically have tried otherwise. (Dragon Chainbody from Dust Devils comes to mind, lol.) But looking at some of the optimal choices here, it'd make sense, lol.

Maybe for stuff like this you could allow a second weapon, which could possibly be a spec weapon, but could also be used as a backup, since the weapon is such an important factor. I.e., if you'd get a d longsword first then you could go for a dds as a spec weapon, but if you got the rune hasta then you could after that go for the brine sabre or something. Not sure if it would make for more entertaining episodes, but maybe worth trying some time. On one hand it makes it easier, but then it also invites you to take bigger risks.
