DESCRIPTION:
In this video I introduce my new invention, the "Reverse Slide Neck". It's an add-on neck which can be fixed and removed in just a few seconds and opens new possibilities to guitar playing. Like all of my instruments, it has been built by Davide Serracini. In this video, I use it to perform "The Lonely Shepherd", a beautiful piece composed by James Last and made even more popular by Zamfir. This tune is part of my new album "CHANGE OF RULES".

Usually when you see someone so talented enough, their performance loses the wow factor just because we, as the viewer, get used to how good the performer is. Yet everytime you release a vid it blows me away. This sounds beautiful mate and you still have that wow factor no matter how many vids you release

Necessity is truly the mother of invention. He must have wanted to produce this kind of music for a long time to have come this far with the correct tools, materials and calculations involved to bring to us such heavenly music. Cheers to all guitarists out there. May your talent be a blessing to all who hear you play. Inspire to be inspired. Good luck.

I guess he got the fretless fretboard inspired from Cenk Endrogen. The look he has done in it symbolise a Shepherd playing his instrument. He is like Krishna in Hindu Religion where he plays flute to people and sheep. Moreover, this look was also giving a look of Jesus and his simplistic life. He is really Jesus of Guitar, 🎸

hey luca, you play beautifully. i came across this performance today because my father passed away 29 yrs. ago today and he used to play The Lonely Shepherd on repeat... it was the pan flute version by Zamfir of course, and i was just a little girl; but now that i'm older, i love the song too. anyway, i played the pan flute version this morning for my Papa of course, but then i started playing your finger-style guitar version and i couldn't pull myself away from it. it really is beautiful. i look forward to hearing more from you... thank you for your version of The Lonely Shepherd... stay blessed.

Impresionante !!! Muy buen guitarrista !!! Excelente !!!

I remember trying to analyze his guitar's tuning in the other cover where he used the same setup (while my guitar gently weeps), and the 6 string part was easy; Made a rough estimate of the 4 lightest strings on the 7 string reverse hawaiian, and they were pretty standard. He didn't play the lower 3 strings though, And now I see he detached them from the slided to use as bass strings... SO FREAKIN CREATIVE! I couldn't've imagined putting single note bass strings down there! Thoroughly Awed!
